Brand Tip — “The Power Of Colors”
What the color of your Brand Say About Your Business
When you’re figuring out how to create a branding kit, it’s important to remember that how we perceive colors depends on the context in which we see it.
Does your brand kit elicit the feeling you are trying to convey? You’ve probably noticed before that some colors look great together and others … just don’t. The colors we choose can help enhance or take away from our brand. This is because the way in which we use two colors together changes how we perceive it. So when you’re choosing colors for your graphic designs, think about how much contrast you want throughout the design. In addition, consider the mood and message you are trying to convey to your audience on a consistent basis.
For many, this is where choosing color is trickiest. One could spend hours choosing colors for their brand simply because it takes awhile to get a feel for what looks best together. Luckily, there are logical rules for how to create color schemes that work together. But many cases one discovers the colors they chose really to not convey their brand.
